Once a week Live class + 24/7 interactive content on our Learning Platform.
Class schedule: 6pm – 7.30pm UK time
Class Size: 6 (maximum)
6-months course - 1 Level achieved.
Certificate: CEFR-Aligned Direct English Certificate at the end of the course, based on the level you enrolled (Beginner A2 or Intermediate A1).
When students access the learning platform they will be able to watch a short Tutorial video that will give an overview of their online learning experience. This session is important to ensure students appreciate the extensive resources available on the platform and how to apply the learning methodology.
Students are able to access your English learning from Day 1 of the purchase. Upon your purchase, students will be automatically enrolled in their chosen level and will be able to access their first self-study interactive lesson with story-based videos, quizzes and exercises at their own pace, as well as their first live lesson with a native English teacher in the set date at the time of purchase. Live lessons will be held weekly, at the same time and same day of the week, every week.
How the English learning platform works:
- After watching the introductory video available on the Learning Platform, students will be able to start the first unit of self study. They will also be able to access their first live lesson with their native English teacher along with the rest of the group who will also be starting as well.
- There is a live group lesson every week, according to the set day of the week at the time of the purchase. Eg. 10th November is Wednesday, therefore the lessons will be every Wednesday, same time, for six months.
- There is a Progress Test at the end of each three units, for the student and teacher to get an indication of students' improvements. The tests are designed to reinforce what students have learned as well as giving an indication of their progress. After completing 27 lessons across 9 units, the students will have completed one level, at the end of the six months.
– Our Direct English Live program offers conversation classes to supplement students’ language learning, as well as lots of speaking practise with a native English teacher to help their pronunciation. The group lessons provide an interactive environment to practice English.
They are designed to encourage natural conversation which really helps to develop a students fluency in the language.
Don't worry if you miss a class, you can still catch up on the following week with no penalties!

You have 14 days to try our English learning method.
We are sure you will enjoy our course, however if within the 14 days since the date of the purchase of this course, you are not satisfied with it, you can request to cancel your enrolment.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the Contract by a clear statement within 14 (fourteen) days from the order confirmation through our Cancellation form.

When do the classes start?
For students enrolled on either our 2-month or 6-month courses, you will choose your preferred start date at the time of booking.
Your conversation club subscription starts immediately, so you can join any of our upcoming scheduled classes. We release new classes monthly in advance.
What can I expect on the first class?
In your first class you will meet your live teachers and a group of student of the same level like you, with students from every part of the world! They are also a bit shy to start, so don't worry as our teachers know how to get you started in a gradual way to become more and more confident week by week!
What happens if I don't attend all my classes?
If you are unable to attend one of your scheduled classes, that is no problem. You can use the online learning resources to keep track with your fellow students until you join again the following week.
Our Conversation Club subscription is designed to be a flexible and learn-as-you-go option. Drop in to classes when they are most convenient to you.
Can I cancel my subscription or course?
Yes, although we would be sad to see you go. If you have join our 'cancel anytime' subscription, then you can cancel immediately, via email to customercare@directenglishlive.com.
If you are on our standard subscription, you are unable to cancel within the first three months but once you have completed the minimum term, you can cancel with 30 days notice by email to customercare@diectenglishlive.com.
For our course students, you are eligible for our 14-day free cancellation clause. If you find the course is not quite suitale for you then you can cancel at anytime within the first 14 days by email to customercare@directenglishlive.com.
