ETS significantly shortened the TOEFL iBT in July 2023. The test now takes approximately 2 hours (down from nearly 3.5 hours). Number of passages and tasks was reduced but difficulty and scoring range (0-120) remain identical. All practice materials published after July 2023 reflect the current format.
