Fluency is designed for intermediate and above learners (B1+) who already have a foundation in English and want to build speaking confidence and natural fluency.

How are sessions structured?

Sessions are live group conversations led by a native British tutor. Each session covers a guided topic, vocabulary, and open discussion with fellow learners.

How many people are in each Fluency session?

Fluency sessions are kept small to ensure every participant gets regular speaking time with the tutor and other learners.

Do I need to be a Direct English Live student to join Fluency?

No. Fluency can be taken as a standalone course or combined with Core, 1-1, or Flex for additional speaking practice.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Fluency includes a 14-day free trial with full access. Cancel within 14 days for a full refund.

What topics are covered in Fluency sessions?

Topics cover everyday situations, current events, travel, culture, business scenarios, and professional communication, with new themes each session.

Do I get a certificate with Fluency?

Fluency awards a participation certificate based on session attendance and active engagement.

Can I combine Fluency with Core or 1-1?

Yes. Many learners take Core for structured grammar progression and Fluency for speaking practice simultaneously. Contact us to discuss combined packages.

What level of English do I need to start?

We recommend at least B1 (intermediate) level to get the most from Fluency sessions. A placement assessment is available if you are unsure of your level.

Can I cancel Fluency at any time?

Yes. Fluency is a monthly subscription. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard.
